Mariano Lozano-P. is a self taught artist that has been connected
to the world of synthesizers since 1977. He's been working in all
musical fields as a performer. programmer, arranger or producer in both
commercial and advertising music and films. Classical and avant garde
spectacles. He placed orders from Junta de Extremadura. He represented
Spain in France ( Rutas de la seda (silk routes) for the U.N.E.S.C.O.)
and Cuba as well as Comunidad de Madrid (EXPO 92 ) and Extremadura
(EXPO 98, EXPO 2000).
Since 1983 he's been collaborating in varied performances,
outstanding his large format works ( macrospectacles in Holland 87,
France 91, 94 y 98 , Cuba 92) in these multimedia spectacles he combines
different subjects: music, video, laser, fireworks, spotlights....
Some of his themes have been choreographed by the ballet national de
cuba 93. His recording -AJO DE PECES- was declared of education
interest by the Junta de Extremadura (Council of Extremadura).
He was nominated for the API 2001 Prizes as best soundtrack of the
film "The Last Patrol"
Lately, he's working in sound textures and doing research on the
field of sound and its relationship with human psyche. He programs in
various systems ( LA, DF, FM Sampling )
